Welcome to LUX @ Rochester

You have reached the homepage of the LUX group at the Department of Physics and Astronomy of the University of Rochester. LUX (Large Underground Xenon detector) is being developed to search for dark matter at the Sanford Underground Laboratory. LUX is funded by the the Department of Eneregy and the National Science Foundation.

The Rochester group is responsible for the LUX trigger. The LUX trigger is based on the DDC-8 digital signal processing technology developed by Wojtek Skulski. Support for this development was provided by the Research Corporation and SkuTek.
