The Rochester dark-matter group consists of two senior faculty (Schroeder and Wolfs), one senior research associate (Jan Toke, Chemistry), one senior engineer (Wojtek Skulski, SkuTek), and one PhD student (Eryk Druszkiewicz, Electrical Engineering). The current funding for the Rochester dark-matter program is coming from the Research Corporation, which has funded the trigger development.
The Rochester group has strong experience with electronics development; Drs. Skulski and Toke are senior engineers at local electronics companies, specializing in the development of data acquisition and processing hardware. Schroeder is a world expert in neutron detection, and his experience will be important for understanding the neutron background in LUX and the neutron response of the active water shield.
