Astronomy 102, Fall 2005.

In addition to the required textbook, the following three textbooks are recommended.  These books are available in the bookstore and will be on reserve in the Physics, Optics and Astronomy Library. 

• Michael A. Seeds, Foundations of astronomy. This book is also used in AST 104 and AST 105.
• Stephen Hawking, A brief history of time.
• Joseph Silk, The Big Bang.
