Mark Session Mark Session Function Button

The results of each Session are saved in a Session file. If you want to accumulate the results of the individual Sessions in a Class Gradebook, you have to score, or mark, the Session. Session results are marked by assigning values to correct Responses/Answers and to wrong Responses/Answers and optionally assigning a weight or point value to Responses. The individual scores for the Class Roster associated with the Lesson used during the Session are automatically calculated when you select the Mark Session Mark Session Function Button Function Button, and displayed in the Mark Session dialog in the Mark Data table.

Select the Session you want to Mark in the Sessions List Window. Click on Mark Session Function Button. You can also access this function from the Review Session dialog.

The sample Mark Session dialog shown below has been split in half to make viewing it here easier. Click on the Function Buttons in the top screen shot to learn more about their functions.

The Session file data are displayed in the left pane of the Mark Session window. Note the Correct Responses table between the Session Data pane on the left and the Mark Data pane on the right (in the split-screen shots above, the Correct Response table is on the right side of the top screen shot). It shows the Correct Response/Answer for each Question in the Session and the Points assigned to each Question. You can double-click on either an Answer value or a Points value to make changes. The Mark Data values are automatically recalculated when any of the values in the Multiplier fields or in the Correct Responses table are changed. The calculated and recalculated results will be saved in a csv Session file, and the Session will be identified as marked by a green Check Mark in the Sessions List Window.
