Recitation formats (in order of increasing involvement by individual students)
Answer questions posed by, and solve problems suggested by, the students.
Facilitate answers and solutions by students, for questions and problems posed by each other.
Small-group workshop: class breaks into groups of 2-4 students to work as teams on problems posed by the TA.
Tutorial discussion: whole class participates in raising and answering questions about the course material, with the discussion facilitated by the TA.
