Computerized Classroom Construction

The following pictures, taken on December 9, show the installation of the airconditioning ductwork and the ceiling in the class room. Note that the old wing of B&L is not airconditioned, and a significant fraction of the construction costs of the class room is associated with the installation of the airconditioning for the class room.

On December 10 and December 11 the carpet was installed. At the same time the lights were installed in the ceiling (and the room was only lighted by a few of the remaining old lights).

The photograph on the right-hand side also shows the exit points of the conduits that will carry power and network connections to the computer stations. For each computer station 20 Amps of electrical service, and 3 cat-V network connections are available.
