Baseball Player

Description: The instructor stands on the freely rotating platform with a baseball bat. Swinging the bat results in the instructor recoiling with the opposite angular velocity. Once the swinging stops, the platform should stop moving.

 

Left: Freely moving platform; right: Baseball bat

 

Swinging the baseball bat on the platform will cause the platform to rotate

 

 

Materials: baseball bat, freely rotating platform
