Merge to Form Capstar

New entity will provide integrated learning services

PRINCETON, NJ (March 31, 2003) -- Three companies with combined expertise in assessment, training, and e-learning have merged to form Capstarï, a new entity designed to meet the needs for these services for corporations, government agencies, academic institutions and licensure and certification organizations.

The three companies that merged to form Capstar include:

á       The Chauncey Group International¨, a subsidiary of Educational Testing Service¨ (ETS¨), and the leading provider of certification and licensing examinations for professionals, business, and government;

á       Experior Assessmentsï, a subsidiary of The Chauncey Group and a professional testing and licensing services company providing test development, test administration, licensing management, continuing education administration and other services related to regulatory authorities across the United States; and

á       iLearningï, Inc., a Baltimore-based company that provides software and services for online training, education, and communication programs for businesses, associations, and educational institutions.

Clients of the three companies will continue to receive outstanding customer service from their respective contact or company. Capstar will provide integrated learning and assessment services.

Michael J. Fitton, newly appointed chief executive officer of Capstar, said its clients Ònow will be able to work with a single company that can assess training needs, develop and deliver the training electronically, assess the effectiveness of the training, and provide certification and licensure examinations.Ó

Capstar begins business with 675 employees and a strong client roster. Experior Assessments will remain headquartered in St. Paul, Minnesota, iLearning will remain in Baltimore, Maryland, and The Chauncey Group, along with Capstar, will be headquartered in Princeton, New Jersey.
