April 27, 2001


On April 27, 2001, Don and I flew Warrior 38290 to HWV (Brookhaven) on Long Island. The trip to Long Island very nice, with solid IMC for about half of the flight. This page shows a collection of pictures I took on the way back. These pictures were taken from an altitude of 10,000 feet (if you do not believe it, check the altimeter in the picture shown below).

There were two reasons for this choice of altitude:

The views of the clouds were spectacular, as is illustrated by the pictures shown below.

Although I have made this trip so many times, it is always fun. Especially if I can share the excitement with my copilot. Thanks Don, it is always nice to have you in the right seat!
