Oscillating Ring
Description: A
ring is placed on a horizontal bar so it can swing as a physical pendulum in its
plane. A simple pendulum whose length is equal to the diameter of the ring is
suspended beside it. When both pendula are set into motion, the class observes
that both pendula have equal periods.
