Coupled Pendulums
Description:
A coupled pendulum is constructed by connecting two rods with masses at one end
to pivot points on a common support bar. The coupling between the pendula is realized
by a very fine wire spring of many turns between the aluminum rods, as shown in
the figure. The coupling effets may then be studied as a function of the frequencies
of the pendula.
