Tension in a String
Description: A
spring balance is connected to strings which run over pulleys. Equal weights are
placed on the ends of each string. The balance reads the value of one of the weights.
Scale
in the center with weights hanging down on either side.
Materials: string,
2 pulleys, spring balance (dial type), sets of equal weights
