Chapter 7. Electrodynamics The Electromotive Force
The driving force that generates a current are commonly provided by batteries or generators.
In a single loop circuit, the current will be the same everywhere.
If at any point in the circuit, the incoming current is different from the outgoing current (see Figure), there will be a buildup of charge, which will change the currents until they are equal.
